Kushtia, Jessore and Khulna areas in the south-west of the country may experience rain and thunderstorms, the Meteorological Department said in a forecast for the country’s inland river port on Tuesday (June 23rd).
The forecast said that south / south-east direction over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Madaripur, Kushtia, Jessore, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Comilla, Noakhali, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet region.
At a speed of 45 to 60 km per hour, temporarily windy with rain or thunderstorms. River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
In addition, winds can blow from the south / south-east at a speed of 8 to 12 kmph. Daytime temperatures may drop slightly.
