The moon of the holy month of Zilhaj was seen in the sky of Bangladesh. As a result, it was announced that the holy Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated in Bangladesh on June 29, Thursday.
This decision was taken at the National Moon Sighting Committee meeting. This information was given by Islamic Foundation sources.
The Hijri month of Zilhaj begins with the sighting of the new moon. Holy Hajj is performed this month. And Eid-ul-Azha is celebrated on the 10th.
The meeting was held at the meeting room of the Islamic Foundation at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque on Monday evening to determine the date of Eid-ul-Azha and also review the news of the sighting of the moon in the holy month of Zilhaj in the year 1444 Hijri.
Also, as the moon of the month of Zilhaj was sighted in Saudi Arabia yesterday, the Eid-ul-Azha celebration has been announced on June 28, there.
