World Biodiversity Day has been observed in Kushtia on May 22. Bangladesh Biodiversity Conservation Federation (BBCF), Sammilito Samajik Jote and Kushtia Bird Club organised the event held at Kushtia Public Library.
A discussion meeting was held. Different section of people took part in it.
President of Manush Manusher Jonno organisation Sahabuddin Milon presided over the programme.
Prominent writers and researchers also chairman of Sammilito Samajik Jote Dr. Amanur Aman present at the event as the chief guest while bird specialist executive member of BBCF and President of Kushtia Bird Club SI Sohel, Coordinator of Sammilita Samajik Jote Advocate Mohaiminur Rahman Polol, social activists Tanjima Rahman, Forest Officer Tapas Kumar Sen Gupta, Acting Secretary of Kushtia District Association USA Inc. and Joint Member Secretary of Kushtia District Association USA Inc. Karibul Islam, Director of Ananda Pathsala Ali Adnan spoke in the event.
