Two teenagers killed in motor cycle accident in Kushtia

Two teenagers were killed in a motorcycle collision at Bheramara in Kushtia. Two more were injured in the incident.

However, no legal driving license was among the bikes drivers killed or injured, police said.

The accident took place at Bankapul area on Bheramara-Golapnagar road on Wednesday (May 19) evening.

The deceased were identified as Moinal Haque Milton, 17, son of Mominul Haque of Golapnagar village under Mokarimpur union and Shakil, 16, son of Alam of the same village.
Witnesses and police said two speeding motorcycles collided head-on the spot at about 7.30:pm. There were four people on two motorcycles. All four fell on the road accident. Two were on each motorcycle.

They were taken to Bheramara Upazila Health Complex, doctors declared Milton and Shakil dead. They were two friends and the driver and rider of the same motorcycle. 

The other two injured on another motorcycle have been admitted to the Kushtia General Hospital. Among them, the condition of a young man named Razzak is critical.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Bheramara Police Station Shahjalal said the injured were admitted to Kushtia General Hospital. The bodies of the victims were taken home as there were no complaints from the families. The OC said all the motorcyclists and riders were teenagers. The two motorcyclists did not have driving licenses.
