Two people died in Coronavirus (Covid-19) in Kushtia. One of them died in Khulna medical College Hospital while other at his home in Kushtia. Both were corona positive. One died yesterday night and another died today (June 24) morning.

The deceased were identified as Akbar Ali, 65, of Char Amlapara in Kushtia town and Asadul Islam, 50, of Trimohoni, an outskirts of Kushtia town.

District Civil Surgeon HM Anwarul Islam Akbar Ali tested positive for corona on Monday. He was being treated in the isolation ward of Kushtia General Hospital.

When his condition deteriorated yesterday, he was shifted to Khulna Medical College Hospital. He died a few hours after being admitted there.

Asadul was identified as Corona Positive on 13 June. He was receiving treatment from his home.
He died early Wednesday morning.

Total 434 people have been infected with Corona in Kushtia till June 23. So far, six corona-positive deaths have been reported in the district.
