Today, July 29 is the fourth death anniversary of former Lawmaker also Mayor of Kushtia Municipality Advocate Badruddoza Gama.

On this day in 2018, he died while undergoing treatment.

With multiple qualities, Advocate Badruddoza Gama was an honest and dedicated politician, social worker and organizer of Kushtia.

Despite political differences and ideology, Advocate Gama was an acceptable person to all, even irrespective of party affiliation. This very social philanthropist man has been working for the development of Kushtia and the welfare of the people for a long time. He has established number of several organizations, associations and institutions in the district.

He has worked for the common people with a close relationship and an equal attitude towards all.

He believed that in order to make the overall development of the society, the resources should be distributed equally among all. The overall development of a society or a country is not possible by neglecting anyone or by favouring a particular group. Holding this view,  he unhesitatingly went in work to eliminate the inequalities on the neglected Harijan community of the society. He was dedicated for them until the last day of his life.
