Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Capitals by an easy and big margin of 5 wickets to clinch the record fifth title in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Earlier, Mumbai won their first title in 2013. Then in 2015, 2016 and 2019 the team got a taste of the trophy. Chennai Super Kings have won the second highest three titles.

Defending champions Mumbai and Delhi will meet in the final of the 13th edition of the IPL on Tuesday (November 10th) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Batting first, Delhi lost 6 wickets at the end of the allotted 20 overs and scored 156 runs. In reply, Mumbai lost 5 wickets and reached the target with 156 runs with 6 balls to spare.

Mumbai held the record for winning the highest number of titles in IPL history in the last edition. This time they took it one step further.
