The teaser of first international movie on Bangladesh’s Liberation War “JK 1971” has been released.
Producer of the film Fakhrul Arefin Khan released the teaser on the “YouTube channel and Facebook page” of Gorai Films at 4 pm yesterday.
A French young Jean Cue hijacked a plane of Pakistan International Airlines [PIA] during the war of liberation of 1971 to help the struggling people of Bangladesh. The young demanded 20 tons of medicine and medical supplies for the freedom-loving people of Bangladesh should be handed over to the people of Bangladesh and all of the passengers of the plane hostage would be released if the demand is fulfill. The film is based on this incident.
The film was directed by Fakhrul Arefin Khan, a renowned Bangladeshi film director earned fame by much popular 'Bhuvan Majhi’ and ‘Gondi.
After shooting, editing, dubbing, color correction and the work of VFX of the movie, the teaser was released yesterday.
The official trailer and poster of the film will be released gradually.
Regarding JK 1971 director Fakhrul Arefin Khan said usually people watch movies about the First World War, the Second World War, the Afghan War and even the Somali War.
“But there is no movie on our hard-earned liberation war screening heroism of any foreign people is built for international audience.” So I planned to make this movie, Fakhrul said.
The movie has already been completed, he said. The teaser is a sequential part of this film.
“I hope that we’ll take final decision to release the film very soon,” he said.
Renowned actor of west Bengal's Sourav Shuvro Das has played the title role in the movie.
Among others, US action Francisco Raymond, actress from Russia Deria Gvrusenko and Nikolai Novominasky and the actors of west Bengal sabyasachi Chakraborty, Indranil and 36 others starred in various roles of the movie.
