The second dose of Corona vaccine has been started in Kushtia on Friday.
The dose is being given from 8 am from all 6 centers earlier set up in the district.
Beside, due to some causes, the 250-bed Kushtia General Hospital Vaccination Center has been shifted to Kalkakali Secondary School, within 500 yards of the hospital.
Kushtia General Hospital Residential Medical Officer Tapas Kumar Sarkar said the vaccination center has been shifted as the Corona sample collection center and patients moving in the hospital almost fell close. Now it make safe to the vaccine receivers.
Tapos also said those who took the first dose of Corona started on February 6 and 7 will be able to take the second dose after receiving a massage on their mobile phones.
Dr Nurunnahar, caretaker of Kushtia General Hospital said about 65,000 people in the district have already been vaccinated with the first dose.
