Ten Corona positive patients returned from India have fled from Jashore General Hospital. They fled between Saturday (April 24) morning and Sunday (April 25) afternoon.

Doctors are fearing that the Indian type of corona may spread in the incident.

According to the hospital admission checklist, more than 50 Bangladeshis came to the country from India through Benapole on Saturday (April 23). There, 10 corona samples were tested positive for corona. They they were admitted to Corona Ward on the third floor of Jashore General Hospital.

The patients are Fatema Begum, 56, wife of Abul Qasim of Biman Office Junction in Jessore, Mala Dutta, 50, wife of Bishwanath of Khaldhar Road, Fatema Begum, 19, wife of Rabiul Islam of Panchbaria village of Sadar upazila and Roma, 30, wife of Ekram of the same village. Momin, son of Jalal Uddin of Pratapkathi village, Nasima Begum, 50, wife of Golam Rabbani of Ramkantpur village, Shahidul Islam, 45, son of Fazr Ali of Raipur village of Bagharpara upazila, Shefali Rani, wife of Manotash of Kaliganj in Jhenaidah district, He is the son of Sher Ali of Rupsha area of ​​the same district.

“It’s not a good thing,” said a senior doctor in charge of the hospital’s corona ward. The Indian type of corona that is being talked about can be spread through them.

Sources said Corona patients have escaped from the 250-bed General Hospital of Jashore in several times before.
