A ten-day special programme is being organized at the National Parade Ground from March 17 to 26 on the occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the golden jubilee of country’s independence. As per the instructions of the Prime Minister, all the preparations have already been completed for organizing the ten-day programme under the theme ‘Mujib Chirantan’ (Mujib Forever)
The programme will pay homage to Bangabandhu through separate themed discussion programmes, cultural programmes, audio-visual and other special presentations.
Maldives President Ibrahim Mohamed Salih, Nepalese President Vidya Devi Bhandari and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi are expected to attend the event as guests.
In addition, the ten-day programme will broadcast speeches by heads of state, heads of government, heads of international organizations and important personalities.
