There about 600 oxygen cylinders are in stock for covid-19 patients in the district. Two more 100 cylinders are being added in one or two days.

Kushtia Civil Surgeon Anwarul Islam told the Kushtia Times today (Thursday).  

This stock is enough for Kushtia, he said.

The district health chief further said that there are 347 of the cylinders at the district level and 256 in different upazilas. In addition, there are 42 concentrators in the district for producing oxygen.

After use, the cylinders were filled with oxygen from Jessore.

According to Tapos Kumar sarker, Resident Medical officer of Kushtia general hospital, the hospital has dedicated 10 special beds for corona patients. All critically ill patients are kept there. This rooms are adorned with centrally oxygen supply system.
