One of the top non-governmental development organisations in Kushtia, SETU took part in the service of the Covid-19 affected people by extending its helping hand to make the ongoing health services more uninterrupted in the context of the ongoing outbreak of corona in Kushtia.
At the initiative, SETU has provided 10 oxygen cylinders to Kushtia General Hospital.
The oxygen cylinders were handed over to the officials of Kushtia General Hospital on Monday.
Retired bank officer also chairman of SETU Sheikh Shahidullah handed over the oxygen cylinders on behalf of the organisation,
Kushtia General Hospital Resident Medical Officer Dr. Tapas Kumar Sarkar, eminent businessman and Kushtia District Awami League Finance Secretary Ajoy Sureka, SETU’s Director Mofizul Islam, Coordinator Nazmunnahar, Manager Finance Shahnaz Parveen, ICT Manager Sanjay Biswem were present among others.
MA Quader, founder and executive director of SETU told daily Dainik Kushtia that SETU has implemented various programmes for the welfare of the common since the inception of Covid-19.
He said SETU provided its assistant to Kushtia district administration, district police and other organizations have continuing help to the people from different walks of life in the district. Through more than a hundred branches of the organisation, SETU has also stood by the endangered common people of the village periphery.
He said the service will be continued for its certain possible time.
