The funeral of O level student was killed as a victim of perverted sex has been completed in Kushtia this (Saturday) morning. She was buried at Gopalpur graveyard in Kamalapur of Kushtia Sadar Upazila. Her janaza was held at Gopalpur Eidgah ground.

The body of the schoolgirl was brought home from Dhaka around 1am on Friday (January 8).

The closest relatives are villagers from adjacent areas rushed to the house. Father of the girl is still in traumatized condition.

Meanwhile, people strongly condemned and protested the incident when the jana was holding. The local people immediately formed a human chain at Komlapur bazar. Hundreds of people stood on both sides of the road and took part in the human chain. Everyone demanded immediate exemplary punishment for this murder.

Meanwhile, the girl’s relatives also protested, claiming that the schoolgirl’s age had been increased by two years in the case and the postmortem report.
