The public universities of the country will be able to take the final examinations of the Honors and Masters. This information was given in the press release of University Grants Cashiman (UGC) on Sunday (December 13).

The UGC said in a statement that due to Corona, necessary steps would be taken as per the decision of the Academic Council of the concerned university to conduct the final examination of the semester of undergraduate and postgraduate students in public universities of the country.

UGC Chairman Prof. The decision was taken at a virtual exchange meeting chaired by Kazi Shahidullah. Vice Chancellors of 39 public universities of the country and members of UGC were present at the meeting.

According to the press release, public universities are conducting online education as an alternative to face-to-face education activities as there is a risk to the health of students due to corona. As a result, on the one hand, the students are reluctant to prepare and practice such subjects, on the other hand, they are suffering from frustration as the examination is not possible on time.

UGC chairman Prof. Dr. Kazi Shahidullah has asked to determine the appropriate way to take the test to end this situation.
