After a long period of virtual proceedings, the Supreme Court administration has decided to start the proceedings in all lower courts of the country through physical presence from Wednesday (August 5).
Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain, in consultation with the senior judges of the Supreme Court, decided to start regular court proceedings.
In order to conduct normal activities in the lower courts, everyone has to abide by the instructions issued by the High Court Division on July 30 to take protective measures in the court premises and court rooms. Must be present in court in compliance with hygiene rules.
On the other hand, a full court meeting will be held on Thursday (August 8) at 3 pm through video conference regarding the opening of the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court administration issued a notification in this regard on Monday (August 3).
Registrar General of the Supreme Court Ali Akbar said in a statement signed by him, “A full court meeting will be held on August 8 at 3 pm with the participation of judges of both the divisions of the Bangladesh Supreme Court through video conference.”
