Deputy Inspector general (DIG) of police in Khulna range Dr. Mohid Uddin, BPM (Bar) said police has to work steadfastly on its own responsibility. This responsibility is for the people and for the state. By this work, police has to gain confidence of people as well as of the state. This way of work will increase the importance of police.
DIG told it when addressed at a special welfare meeting at Police Lines in Kushtia on December 29 as chief guest. He presented directions and inspirational speeches to members of all levels of the district police.
The DIG said who works more, the more fingers will be pointed at him.
“However, if you can be skilled in the work, you will be less critical. So you have to try to acquire skills according to the type of work. He said the work of the police is getting harder day by day. Because the type of crime is changing. So in order to be successful in the police, you have to apply a lot of talent in your work.
He was welcomed by Superintendent of Police SM Tanvir Arafath PPM (Bar). Soon after, a parade was held at the Kushtia Police Lines Parade Ground in compliance with hygiene and social distance. Additional Superintendent of Police Farhad Hossain Khan of the special branch of the district police led the parade.
Then he periodically visited various units of the police. He made annual visits to the Reserve Office, bi-annual visits to the accounts branch of the police office and bi-annual visits to Kushtia Kushtia Model Police Station.
Mostafizur Rahman, Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Crime), Atiqul Islam, Additional Superintendent of Police, Kushtia Sadar Circle and Ajmal Hossain, Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police, Mirpur Circle, Kushtia were also present.
