Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan has spoken to the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina over telephone. This has been informed in the press release signed by the Press Secretary to the Prime Minister Ihsanul Karim. The Prime Ministers of the two countries had a phone conversation at 1 pm. And the they talked for about 15 minutes.
Ihsanul Karim said that after exchanging normal greetings, Imran Khan talked to the Prime Minister about the activities and initiatives to deal with Corona. In a detailed reply, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina highlighted all medical initiatives. The Prime Minister elaborated on the plans and activities of the Government of Bangladesh against Corona.
The Prime Ministers of the two countries also discussed the flood situation. Imran himself wants to know about Bangladesh’s preparedness and initiatives in dealing with floods. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina briefed him on the overall situation of the ongoing floods.
