One more person died in last 24 hours in Kushtia in Coronavirus. The deceased’s house is in Thanapara area of the town. The death toll stood at 69 people in Kushtia.
Total 9 new Corona patients have been identified in the district within the period.
On 23 September 176 samples (Kushtia 121, Chuadanga 18, Jhenaidah 28 and Meherpur 11) were tested in the PCR lab of Kushtia Medical College.
Among those affected in Kushtia are 3 from Kushtia Sadar Upazila, 5 from Kumarkhali Upazila and 1 from Mirpur Upazila.
On the other hand, 3 new corona patients have been identified from Chuadanga district, 4 from Jhenaidah district and 1 from Meherpur district. Follow-up report of 1 person from Kushtia district and 1 person from Chuadanga district is positive. The rest of the results are negative.
Address of 3 affected people in Kushtia Sadar Upazila: Hatsh Haripur 1, KGH 1 and Kalishankarpur 1. Address of 5 affected people in Kumarkhali Upazila: 4 in Putia Nandalalpur and 1 in Mahendrapur. Address of 1 person affected in Mirpur Upazila: 1 person in UHC Mirpur.
The total number of corona positive patients in Kushtia is 3219, out of which 2867 have recovered.
