One person died of corona and 2 people with symptoms in Kushtia and Chuadanga district today (June 29). The information has been confirmed by the health department sources of the two districts.
According to Kushtia Health Department sources, one person died in Kushtia on Sunday night due to corona; one person died of symptoms on Monday (June 29). On the other hand, one person died in Chuadanga this (June 29) morning. He had corona symptoms.
According to Kushtia General Hospital, Habibur Rahman, 40, of Harishankarpur in Kushtia was admitted to Kushtia General Hospital with shortness of breath and fever. He is the son of the late Hukum Ali of the area.
On Saturday morning, the hospital authorities collected samples from his body. Habibur died around 8 pm on Sunday. Shortly after his death, the PCR lab reported that he was corona positive.
Meanwhile, on the morning of June 29, Ali Ahmed Liton, chief accountant of Kushtia BRB Cables, became seriously ill. He died on the way to the hospital.
Liton’s family said he had been suffering from fever for several days.
He came to the office in the morning with fever. He was supposed to go to Khulna on an official tour. Her breathing started when he got in the car. He died on the way to the General Hospital.
Resident Medical Officer of Kushtia General Hospital Tapash Kumar Sarkar said the deceased had corona symptoms. His samples have been collected.
A total of 6 people have died in Kushtia due to corona.
Meanwhile, an old man named Badar Uddin (60) died in Chuadanga with symptoms of coronavirus.
He died at noon on Monday (June 29) while undergoing treatment at Chuadanga Sadar Hospital. Badar Uddin is the son of late Didar Mandal of Darshana Shampur village in Damurhuda upazila.
Chuadanga Sadar Hospital Resident Medical Officer (RMO) Shamim Kabir said that the old man was admitted to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital at 9 am today (June 29) with cold and fever. He was kept in the yellow zone of the corona ward of the hospital due to symptoms of coronavirus. He died in the afternoon while undergoing treatment.
Civil Surgeon Dr. ASM Marf Hasan said the body of the deceased Badar Uddin had symptoms of corona virus. Samples were collected from his body after his death. The sample will be sent to Kushtia Medical College Hospital for examination.
