More 35 people have been infected with corona in Kushtia. They were identified on Wednesday, July 8.
With this, the total number of victims in 6 upazilas of the district stood at 636.
A total of 376 samples (Kushtia 165, Chuadanga 62, Jhenaidah 77, Meherpur 24, Narail 48) were tested on July 8 in Kushtia Medical College PCR lab.
Of these, 35 new corona were identified in Kushtia.
Among them 26 are from Kushtia Sadar upazila of Kushtia district, 2 from Khoksa upazila, 3 from Daulatpur upazila, 2 from Bheramara upazila and 1 from Mirpur upazila.
Besides, 7 new corona patients have been identified in Chuadanga district, 2 in Meherpur district, 33 in Jhenaidah district and 20 in Narail district. The rest of the results are negative.
