More 22 new corona patients have been identified in Kushtia in last 24 hours.

Of the infected, 11 were of Kushtia Sadar Upazila, 5 of Kumarkhali, 4 of Daulatpur and 1 from Khoksa Mirpur Upazila each.

Total 95 samples were tested in Kushtia and 22 were found corona positive.

Besides, the results of 2 samples of those who wanted to go abroad were positive.

On the other hand, 13 samples of Jhenaidah, 9 in Chuadanga and 2 in Meherepur tested were found positive

A total of 282 samples (95 from Kushtia district, 45 from Chuadanga district, 64 from Jhenaidah district, 17 from Meherpur district and 61 from those willing to go abroad) were tested in the PCR lab of Kushtia Medical College on April 7.

So far, the total number of corona positive patients in Kushtia is 4227. Of these, total of 3901 people recovered and 92 people got died.
