A mobile court has fined five restaurant owners in Kushtia for producing food items in dirty and unhealthy environment on December 25.
Rab-12 Kushtia conducted the drive.
Executive magistrate of Kushtia district administration Munmun Nahar Asha led the mobile court.
The mobile court fined Tk 1 lakh to Mauban Restaurant, Tk 50,000 to Ashok Dadhi Bhadar, Tk 25,000 to Nanna Biryani House and Tk 10,000 to Nawab Biryani House and Haji Biryani House.
Major Gaffar Uzzaman, company commander of RAB-12 Kushtia camp, said such operations would be continued.
