The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has asked to prepare for opening the school with some instructions. A directive signed by Deputy Secretary of the Ministry Shamim Ara Nazneen was issued on Tuesday (September 8).
According to the directive, guidelines have been formulated to reopen the school in compliance with public health and hygiene rules in the Covid-19 situation. Preparations need to be made in the base of approved guidelines before the school open. In this situation, it has been requested to take necessary steps to send the guidelines to the school level.
At the same time, as part of the preparation process, all the steps of the ministry have been asked to make posters, leaflets and distribute them among the guardians and students. It has been requested to present a draft of it.
Sources said the Ministry will issue more than 50 health safety guidelines before opening schools to ensure the safety of students.
Relevant sources said that the teaching activities will be conducted in accordance with these instructions on how to conduct classes every day. These guidelines have been developed following health guidelines from the World Health Organization, UNICEF, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Ministry of Health to ensure the operation and protection from corona disease.
