A person who gave sample test in Meherpur anonymity fled the house knowing the result positive.
The man identified as Rezaul Haque, 50 of Betabaria in Gangni upazila of Meherpur.
Officer-In-Charge (OC) of Gangni police station Obaidur Rahman told that Rezaul hide his identity and gave one Fin tower as address.
His Corona came positive on Sunday night. Then he fled the house on Monday (June 22) morning.
OC said police were sent to his house after receiving news that Rezaul Had fled the house. But he was not found there. Police searched various places including Rezaul’s workplace at Chatmohor in Pabna.
Gangni Upazila Health and Family Welfare Officer Reazul Alam said that after receiving the news that Rezaul had run away from home, the health workers including him went to his house and searched for him.
Search was also conducted after receiving the news that Rezaul was undergoing treatment at Kurmitola General Hospital in Dhaka, the hospital authorities said that no one named Rezaul was admitted there.
Rezaul's wife Halima Khatun, who works at the Chatmohar Palli Bidyut office in Pabna district, said her husband was being treated at the Kurmitola General Hospital in Dhaka.
Asked why he went to Dhaka from home, she said Rezaul had told him he had work in Dhaka so he left.
According to the locals, Rezaul got on a bus with a towel on his face at 5 am on Monday riding an easy bike.
The administration has locked down easy bike driver Liton Ali and his family members in the incident.
The easy bike driver said that Rezaul’s father had rented his auto bike with false information.
