The main Eid congregation will be held at Jatiya Eidgah maidan, located nearby to the High Court, around 7:30 am on the day of Eid-ul-Azha.
According to various sources, it is known that Jatiya Eidgah has the capacity to house a total of 35,000 devotees, including both men and women.
The wide grounds have an area of 25,000 square metres, which provides a suitable space for congregational prayers.
An effort to make special arrangements to ensure separate prayer areas for women at the venue has been made as well.
In the meantime, a total of five congregations will be held at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, starting from 7:00 am on Eid day. The second one will be held at 8:00 am while the next three jamaats will be held at 9:00 am, 10:00 am and 10:45 am respectively.
