Madrassa and technical school asked to observes Genocide and Independence Day

The government has instructed to technical and madrasa educational institutions to observe and Genocide and celebrate the Independence Day. A directive signed by Madrasa Board Registrar Siddiqur Rahman was issued on Tuesday (March 23rd).

According to the directive, as per the directives of the Ministry of Education, the day of genocide should be observed on March 25 and the Independence Day on March 26.

These programs include: Schools / Colleges / Madrasas and all educational institutions to hold a commemorative and discussion meeting on March 25 in the voice of eminent personalities / heroic freedom fighters. The national flag should be hoisted in government, semi-government, autonomous and private buildings. Morning parades, student rallies at educational institutions, performance of national anthems and sports competitions will be organized at all departments, districts and upazilas of the country. All educational institutions have been asked to organize various programmes highlighting the significance of the Independence and National Day, including organizing essay and debate competitions at the national level.

The concerned authorities have been requested to implement all the applications.

Meanwhile, the Department of Secondary and Higher Education has instructed all the general schools and colleges of the country to observe these two important days of the country this week.
