Coronavirus (Covid-19) Infection situation has not been improved much but the lockdown is coming up from today, August 11, with the question of human livelihood and keeping the wheel of the economy run relying on human awareness. People have to deal with this epidemic; have to fight and survive.
The government feels that there is an urge on the government to keep the economy functioning but also do not want to accept the restrictions.
Moreover, it was becoming increasingly impossible for some people to accept the ongoing lockdown. While many experts disagree with the government’s strategy, some say it is not possible to keep the lockdown for long thinking the social reality like Bangladesh where a large number of people are to go out daily for income to live. What they will do, how manage food if the lockdown continues.

Almost everything is opening. On August 8, the Cabinet Division issued a notification in this regard with eight conditions. At this time all types of public transport will run with equal number of passengers.
However, tourist, resorts, community and recreation centers will remain closed following the previous restrictions. Such social gatherings, birthdays, picnics, parties, etc., political and religious ceremonies will also be closed.
>> All government / semi-government / autonomous / private offices, banks and financial institutions will remain open following the hygiene rules.
>> Bangladesh Supreme Court will issue necessary instructions regarding the courts. (Already issued).
>> Road, rail and waterways will be able to move public transport / vehicles with the same number of seats. In case of public transport by road, the local administration (Divisional Commissioner in City Corporation area and Deputy Commissioner at district level) in consultation with the law enforcement agencies, concerned departments / agencies, employers and labor organizations in their respective jurisdictions will be able to introduce half of the total transport per day.
>> Shopping malls / markets / shops can be kept open from 10 am to 8 pm following the hygiene rules.
>> All kinds of industries will continue.
>> Food shops, hotels and restaurants can be kept open from 8 am to 10 pm leaving half the seats vacant.
>> In all cases, the wearing of the mask must be ensured and the hygiene rules framed by the Department of Health must be followed properly.>> In case of negligence in the observance of health rules in any organization including public transport, various offices, markets and markets, the concerned authorities will take responsibility and legal action will be taken against them.
What to do /
If the hygiene is successful, the situation is expected to be under control. Experts say the human being will not be vanished in Corona. People will survive with Corona. So the thing is how to survive with Corona! The main strategy is to make all people follow the rules.
They say the effect can be found in the substantial lockdown. That is to make it compulsory to wear a mask. If anyone come out without a mask, will be punished. Besides, those who do not have masks, the government will provide them masks. Implementing it will bring great benefits.
A meeting chaired by the Liberation War Affairs Minister on August 3 discussed the issuance of an ordinance on punishment for not wearing mask. But no decision was made.
