The implementation of the decision to lift the examination from class I to III from next year may be delayed. However, the Department of Primary Education (DPE) said that the system may be introduced in thousands of schools across the country from next year.
The sources of the DPE said that although it was decided to start this program in 65,000 schools of the country, it is not possible to implement it from next year due to the ongoing Corona situation. Although it is not possible to introduce class assessment up to class III in all primary schools of the country next year, class assessment system will be introduced in one thousand schools in different districts selectively.
The sources said the new system will be introduced in all government primary schools of the country from 2022.
The new curriculum will be fully implemented in 2022.
The traditional first and second periodical and annual examinations will not last till the class III. Classes will be evaluated throughout the year. Not only the studies, but also the behavior of the students will be given grades after evaluating all the subjects.
