Youth Power Community, a social platform of young people in Kushtia has distributed foods among more than 100 street children and disadvantaged people under the project of “Ahar” initiated by the organisation.
Eminent writer and researcher also editor and publisher of The Kushtia Times and daily Dainik Kushtia Dr. Amanur Aman inaugurated the food distrbution programme from his office on Thursday morning. Dr. Amanur Aman, Chairman of Sammilita Samajik Jote is also chief advisor of the organisation.
In his speeches, Dr. Aman said, the Youth Power Community is a non-governmental voluntary organization. The youths themselves work for the welfare of humanity with the money saved from their tiffin, hand money. They also do things like stand by the sick, distribute winter clothes to the cold, and give food to the people lives in the lane. I hope these young chap will one day take Kushtia to the forefront of the country.
