Kushtia is now virtually in Corona catastrophe. Every day new characters are being infected with no bindings.

A total of 39 people have been infected with corona in the last 24 hours. This is the report of Kushtia Medical College’s PCR lab on 23 June.

With this, the total number of victims in the district stood at 434.

A total of 193 samples were obtained from the Lab.

Among the victims are 19 in Kushtia Sadar upazila, 5 in Kumarkhali upazila, 6 in Bheramara upazila, 2 in Daulatpur upazila, 5 in Mirpur upazila and 1 in Khoksa upazila.

Besides, samples of 25 from Meherpur, 20 from Chuadanga, 18 from Magura and 1 from Jhenaidah were tested in this lab.

In this, 6 new corona patients have been identified in Magura district, 3 in Meherpur district and 6 in Chuadanga district.

Besides, 1 follow-up report came positive in Khoksa upazila.

The rest of the results are negative 6.

The district health department once again urged the people to be conscious on the pandemic disease.

Tapos Kumar Sarker, Resident medical officer (RMO) of Kushtia general hospital asked the people not be frightened. The virus of the disease is now literally weak.
