Prize distribution of Kobad Sheikh Victory Day Badminton Tournament-2020 has been held at Chakrajapur of Kushtia Sadar Upazila on Wednesday night.

Professor Dr. Mahbubul Arfin, Chairman at the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Islamic University also General Secretary of University Bangabandhu Parishad, was present as the Chief Guest at the event.

Eminent writer, researcher, editor and publisher of the daily Dainik Kushtia and The Kushtia Times Dr. Amanur Aman, General Secretary of the Islamic University Officers Association and Secretary General of the Bangladesh Inter-university Officers Federation Additional Mir Mourshedur Rahman and Additional Public Prosecutor of Kushtia Judge Court Nizam Uddin was present as a special guests.

SM Shamim Rana, President of Jagannathpur Chakrajapur Kobad Sheikh Community Library and Executive Editor of Daily Dainik Kushtia presided over the function.

In the final match, Jamai Sabuj-Minarul became the team champion and Russell-Parvez team became the runners-up. The distinguished guests handed over trophies to the finalists and crests among the each of the 6 participants.

Kushtia Nagarik Parishad President and Sadar Upazila BRB President Saifud Doula Turun, Kushtia District Chhatra League Sports Secretary Tanvir Ahmed, former Majampur Union member Sadbar and other dignitaries of the area were present there.
