The number of the total death with Covid-19 in 10 districts of Khulna division since the outbreak of the virus was almost equal to the death took place in the month of July alone.

According to the data available in the directorate of Khulna divisional health shows that total 2,388 people have died in corona infection since 19 March 2020 in the division. Besides, the number of death in the month just ended July was 1,318, which is more than half of the total death. This month, an average of 43 people died every day in the virus.

According to the data, 425 people died with corona in the division in last 30 days of the month of June. At same time, 21 thousand 984 people were identified as Corona positive. On the other hand, 1,318 people died in Corona in last 31 days at the month of July. It was more than 55 percent of the total deaths of the division.

Besides, the number of death has been doubled in last 24 hours in 10 districts of the Khulna division. At the same time, the corona detection rate has also increased.

The divisional health directorate said total 40 people have died from corona in last 24 hours. At the same time, 880 people have been identified as positive. Earlier on Saturday (July 31), 19 people were died and 571 corona were identified as Corona infected.

The highest number of 16 deaths was in Kushtia. Of the others, seven died in Jashore, five in each Khulna and Jhenaidah, three in Bagerhat, two in each Narail and Chuadanga.
Meanwhile, Khulna was at the top of the list of the virus infection in 24 hours where total 189 people have been identified as infected. Besides, 181 people have been identified in Kushtia. 89 in Bagerhat, 82 in Satkhira, 86 in Jashore, 38 in Narail, 44 in Magura, 85 in Jhenaidah, 52 in Chuadanga and 34 in Meherpur.

A total of 23,965 people were identified as corona positive in Khulna district and 629 died there, a total of 6,071 people were identified positive in Bagerhat and 126 died, while a total of 5,704 people were identified as positive and 85 died in Satkhira.

In Jashore, a total of 18,826 people were identified as positive and a total of 351 people died. A total of 4,142 people were identified as positive and 94 died in Narail. A total of 3,125 people were identified as positive and 66 died Magura. In Jhenaidah, a total of 7,654 people were identified and 207 died.

In Kushtia, a total of 14,415 people were identified as positive and 569 died. In Chuadanga, a total of 6,046 people were identified and 163 died. A total of 3,864 people have been identified in Meherpur and 137 people have died there.

The first corona patient was identified in Khulna division on March 19 last year in Chuadanga.

A total of 93,812 people have been identified as corona positive in 10 districts of the division since the infection.

During this period, 70,095 people returned home after recovery.
