Police could not arrest any of the killers of JSD-BCL leader Nafis Ahmed Tushar murder after 24 hours of the gruesome incident.
Besides, JSD central president also former information minister Hasanul Haque Inu heavily comedown on police for failing to arrest the killers.
On Saturday, Inu told that why the victim family has to file case first naming the killers ?. A murder happened, police will normally arrest the killers. He blamed that those who are giving shelter BNP-Jamaat men wearing Mujib Court are the mastermind of the killing.
Unidentified miscreants stabbed a Jasad Chhatra League, student front of Jatyia Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) leader to death in Kushtia’s Bheramara upazila on Friday night.
He was stabbed at Golapnagar Bazar of Mokarimpur union of the upazila around 7 pm on Friday. Later he died on the way to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital around 10:30 PM. He was hailed of Mokarimpur village.
The deceased Tushar was Co-Secretary of Mokarimpur Union Jasad Chhatra League.
The deceased's father, Rabiul Islam Rabi told that Tushar was a second year student of a private university in Dhaka. He came to home from Dhaka in Eid vacation recently. Rabiul Islam Rabi is also organizing secretary of Mokarimpur Union JSD.
Robi said, miscreants hacked Tushar on the leg with sharp weapons at about 7: pm on Friday (April 05) leaving his with severe condition. He was taken to Bheramara upazila Health Complex at once.
Rezaul Karim, was on duty physician of the hospital told that veins of two legs of Tushar were bitterly cut. AT the same time, he was stabbed multiple in the back. He was immediately transferred to Rajshahi Medical College.
But he succumbed to his injury at Iswardi of Pabna.
Organizing secretary of Kushtia district unit JSD Asit Singh Roy told that after the election, two JSD leaders faced of killing in the district. His party heavily protested it.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bheramara Police Station Zahirul Islam told that police operation is continuing to bring the killers book.
Additional police are deployed in the area.
