The Kushtia Islamic University authority has suspended all types of examinations of the university.
In the evening, the acting registrar of the university Ataur Rahman confirmed it.
He said that he had informed all the departments about the matter in the evening on the instructions of the Vice-Chancellor.
He will issue the letter after passing it in a formal meeting with the deans tomorrow, Tuesday (February 23).
The registrar said the decision was taken after a new decision by the education ministry to open the university.
It is known that Honors-Masters and annual examinations were being conducted in different departments of the university in accordance with the prescribed self-rules.
University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sheikh Abdus Salam said in the evening that the university was taking examinations considering the special situation.
“Now that the government has decided, we will implement it, he said.
He said there will be online classes and official activities will continue.
