The Islamic University unit Bangbandhu Parishad (BP) has declared tougher movement to resist the recognised corrupt clique already was thrown into dustbin by movement as these elements have been trying to re-emerge in the campus.
The BP leaders observed that chance of their emerging mean of nefarious intention of thwarting and questioning the ongoing pace and achievements of development under the leadership of the incumbent Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. At the same time, it is also conflicting and against the ideology and dream of founder father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
“All because that, these elements are fully corrupted and pushed the university into uncertainty and a reign of terror through various misdeeds,” leaders of the organisation after the name of father of the nation said.
They told it in press conference on Saturday.
They said leaders and activists are ready to resist them anyway.
The general secretary of the IUBP Professor Dr.Mahbubul Arfin read out the written statement. Among others, President (Acting) Prof. Dr. Jahangir Hossain, Vice-President Prof. Dr. Anwar Hossain, Legal Affairs Secretary Prof. Dr. Shahjahan Mondal and other senior leaders were present in there.
They said a vicious circle called ‘Bangabandhu Parishad Teachers Unit’ has started various misdeeds by discrediting Bangabandhu which is very sad.
The leaders blamed that “To work together, we talked to them repeatedly and asked them to sit and talk on their issues. But they did not sit with us. Instead, they went beyond the command of BP’s central committee and formed this so called organisation.
“Forming the structure parallel to the centrally approved committee, they are on continued to do various odd jobs. We have informed the central leaders about all their misdeeds. Moreover, it has been informed through press release from the central leaders that only Bangabandhu Parishad working here already is a valid committee and we will run activities on campus.”
The leaders vowed that they will resist this conspiracy politically.
