Assistant High Commissioner of India to Rajshahi Sanjeev Kumar Bhati says the India-Bangladesh relation is historic and long-tested. This relationship developed after a long exchange of intimacy. So it is not to be lost overnight.
Sanjeev Bhati made a speech at a function to hand over an ambulance to Kushtia Municipality as a gift from the Government of India held at Kushtia Municipality Auditorium on Monday (December 6).
Sanjeev said India maintain the most precious relationship with Bangladesh in South Asia. India has always been committed to this.
He said that in the days to come, the key issue in bilateral relations now is to focus on more engagement, trade, business and communication, which has become increasingly important for both sides.
Kushtia Additional District Magistrate RM Selim Shahnewaz, Additional Superintendent of Police Mostafizur Rahman, Social Worker Ajay Sureka and officials, employees and councillors of the Municipal Council were present there.
