If Bangabandhu could win in unequal war with empty hands, why can’t we develop it/ Divisional Commissioner

Khulna Divisional Commissioner Zillur Rahman Chowdhury said if Bangabandhu could win in unequal war with his empty hands and establish an independent state, why can’t we develop that state.
He said Bangladesh cannot be stopped anymore. Those who once called this country a bottomless basket are now calling it an emerging tiger. Those who were once extremely negative, are now showing an extremely positive outlook. This is possible because of our goodwill. This flexibility is the sum of all our efforts.
According to him, “if we can develop other human qualities like honesty and goodwill in ourselves, we can take this country to the peak of development. Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina continues to make the same efforts.”
Zillur Rahman Chowdhury today (Thursday) spoke in an exchange meeting with district government officials and dignitaries people in the district in the conference room of Kushtia District Commissioner as chief guest.
He advised government officials to keep them up above criticism. He said an honest officer can never be left behind in any way.
The Divisional Commissioner requested to consider the issues that could play a role in the development and progress of Kushtia. He said the Padma Bridge has changed the districts of South West. He said his office is working on how to change it further.
Kushtia Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Saidul Islam chaired the event.
Islamic University professor also general secretary of Kushtia Nagorik Committee Salim Toha, Principal of Kushtia Government College Professor Manzoor Qadir, Principal of Kushtia Government Central College Professor Ajmal Gani Arju, Director of Public Relations Department of Islamic University Dr. Amanur Aman, Kushtia Additional Superintendent of Police Atiqul Islam, LGED Kushtia Executive Engineer Zahidur Rahman Mandal, Roads and Highways Executive Engineer Sakirul Islam, Kushtia Press Club General Secretary Anisuzzaman Dablu, Press Club KPC President Rashedul Islam Biplab and heads of various government offices also addressed the event.
Among others, Kushtia Zilla Parishad Executive Officer Munsi Muniruzzaman, Kushtia Government Mahila College Principal Professor Shishir Kumar Roy, NSI Joint Director Idris Ali, Deputy Director of Local Government Division of District Commissioner’s Office Kushtia Arifuzzaman, ADC (Revenue) Sirajul Islam, ADC General Sharmin Akhtar, Kushtia Judge Court GP Aktaruzzaman Masum, PP Anup Kumar Nandi businessman Ajoy Sureka were also present on the occasion.
