The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent exams are set to begin on Aug 17. The final theoretical test will be held on Sept 25.
The exam schedule was published on the Dhaka Education Board's website on Thursday.
Moreover, the practical exam will be held from September 26 to October 4.
The exams will be held for three hours from 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm.
This year's HSC exams will kick off with the Bangla first paper.
First multiple choice and then creative/compositional tests will be conducted. There will be no break between the two parts of the examination.
Students have been advised to arrive 30 minutes before the start of the tests.
It is also mentioned that the candidates can use the general scientific calculator in the exam. Programming calculators cannot be used. No candidate will also be allowed to bring a mobile phone to the centre.
Detailed guidelines about the exams have been set out in the schedule.
Usually, the HSC exams start on Apr 1, but the coronavirus pandemic forced the government to delay the tests for several months throughout the last three years.
