Awami League joint general secretary Mahabub-ul-Alam Hanif advised that Khaleda Zia’s treatment should be given keeping her at the country.
Moreover, the situation in the country is the same abroad. All the countries are now upset over the corona. At this situation, it is very difficult to understand which country will provide her medical care.
He said that the communication system of many countries is limited. It has to think about whether she will be taken to any doctor in any of these countries and whether they will give her treatment. Besides, the most important thing is that according to her doctors, Khaleda Zia's treatment is possible in the country. So there is no need to take her abroad.
Hanif made the remarks while addressing an exchange view meeting on the activities of Kushtia Medical College Hospital on Saturday (May 7).
He said BNP leaders and activists are more involved in politics in the name of medical treatment than health and treatment of Begum Khaleda Zia.
“We have seen at various times that BNP leaders and activists have raised irrelevant and unnecessary demands to create pressure on the government in various ways instead of treating Khaleda Zia well. Which is not related to Khaleda Zia's treatment,” Hanif said.
Kushtia Deputy Commissioner Saidul Islam, District Superintendent of Police Khairul Alam, former principal of Krishtia Medical College Dr SM Mostanjid, District Awami League President Sadar Uddin Khan, General Secretary Azgar Ali, Kushtia District Council Administrator Haji Rabiul Islam and all doctors of Kushtia Medical College were present.
