Government plans to set thousands of madarssa

The Bangladesh government has taken initiative to establish madrasas based on Quran and Sunnah in the country to educate students from play level to fifth grade. 

Under the project, a total of 1,010 Darul Arkam ibtedayi madrasas will be launched in 505 upazilas of 64 districts. A total of 5,050 teachers will be appointed in this regard.

The project will be implemented from June 2020 to December 2024.

This project aims to create a real Nayib Rasool on the basis of Quran and Sunnah in the light of National Education Policy 2010. 

It will teach the children to physical, mental, moral and human values. Emphasis will be given on acquiring mathematical concepts and skills. English as a foreign language will be taught. Independent and free thinking will be encouraged in obedience to the laws and religious beliefs of the country. Democratic norms will be practiced.

There should be 20 to 25 students in each classroom.
