Eid-ul-Adha holiday will be three days and all government officials and employees must be in the compulsory to workplace.
Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam made the remarks at a press conference at the Secretariat on Monday (July 13th).
The cabinet secretary said Eid-ul-Azha would be celebrated on July 31 or August 1, subject to the sighting of the moon. However, whatever day is celebrated, the day before Eid, the day of Eid and the day after Eid, these three days will be public holidays.
