The applicants willing to take part in Dhaka University admission process can take the test from their respective divisional cities. In addition, some changes including the distribution of marks in the admission test have been changed for the academic year 2020-21.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the general admission committee of the university on Monday (November 23).
According to several sources present at the meeting, admission tests will be conducted in 8 divisional cities namely Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet, Rangpur and Mymensingh for the safety of students and parents.
The DU Admission Committee has decided to take a total of 100 marks in these four units A, B, C and D with MCQ of 40 marks (multiple choice) and written marks of 40 marks and 20 marks on the results of SSC and HSC examinations. A total of 60 marks will be held. Deans of the concerned faculties will fix the time and thematic questions.
A press release issued by the public relations office of the university said that the application for the admission test will be accepted and the schedule of the test will be announced in time.

ASM Maqsood Kamal, Treasurer Prof. Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed, Deans of different faculties, Chairmen of different departments, Directors of different institutes, Provosts of different halls and officials concerned with admission activities.
