A discussion meeting and cultural programme was organized at Ramanathpur School and College in Khoksa Upazila of Kushtia on the occasion of a reception of fresher’s and on historic 7th March.
Prominent writer, researcher, educationist, editor of The Kushtia Times and the Dainik Kushtia also president of governing body of the institution Dr. Amanur Aman in the chair, the event was discussed among others, by Upazila Secondary Education Officer Nazmul Haque as the chief guest, two heroic freedom fighters Abdus Sattar and Abu Taleb, Badiuzzaman Super of Goneshpur Kachemul Ulum Dakhil Madrasa and Matiar Rahman, Headmaster of Osmanpur Secondary School as special guests.
The guests were greeted with flowers and scarves at the beginning under the overall supervision of College Principal Golam Mostafa Kamal. Then the crest was given among the 5 students who retained good result in Higher Secondary examination.
Two heroic freedom fighters took part in the discussion on historic March 7.
The chief guest in his speech said that the traditional Ramanathpur School and College of the area is moving forward with its own glory. He said that there is a lot of sincerity in the development of education among the teachers here. He wishes the institution will better in future.
Dr. Amanur Aman in his speeches told that he is always active in the development of the institution. He called upon the teachers to get acquainted with the modern ideas and urged the students to move towards it. He called on Facebook, Twitter and Google to help students get accurate information.
