Two more people died with Corona infection in last 24 hours in Kushtia. At the same time 39 people found Corona positive in the district.

With this total 94 people died with the virus in Kushtia so far till April 11.

Of the 39 victims, 33 were from Kushtia Sadar upazila,  2 from Bheramara upazila, 1 from Mirpur upazila and 3 from Khoksa upazila.

In Kushtia’s 117 samples were tested.

So far, the total number of corona positive patients in Kushtia is 4346. Of them 3963 have been cured.

The health experts once again cautioned of people’s awareness to avert the virus. They said Kushtia people have been continuously ignoring the rules and regulations announced by the government to avoid the virus.

Professor Dr. SM Mostanzid, former principal of Kushtia Medical College said awareness of the people is only instrumental where there is no medicine to check a disease.

Kushtia Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Saidul Islam further urged the people to abide the health rules declared by the government properly.
