Cyclone Sitrang has finally stopped. Now it is now capable to create ground rain pressure on several areas of Bangladesh. It is now heading towards Meghalaya of India through Habiganj, Sylhet of Bangladesh. Its strength has already gone down and all types of warning signs have been lowered in the country.
Abul Kalam Mallick, meteorologist of Meteorological Department, confirmed this information in the media and said that the country is now free from sitrang.
This meteorologist said that the sky will be cloudy all day today in certain areas.
According to the latest notification issued by the Meteorological Department in the form of warning and special notification, Cyclone ‘Sitrang’, which is crossing the coast, is moving very fast in the north-northeast direction and has crossed the Barisal-Chittagong coast from Bhola on Monday midnight and has rapidly weakened and turned into a low pressure. And currently, the land depression is located in Dhaka-Comilla-Brahmanbaria and its surrounding areas. An excess of air pressure differences prevails over the northern Bay of Bengal.
