The severity of infection of Covid-19 continues in Kushtia. Here 2 more people have died in the district in last 24 hours and more 50 people have been identified as Corona patient in Kushtia. The death toll in the district stood at 60 and the number of corona detected stood at 2,616.
On August 26, total 220 samples of Kushtia were tested in the PCR lab of Kushtia Medical College. Of these, 50 were found to be corona positive. Among them 32 are from Kushtia Sadar Upazila, 4 from Kumarkhali Upazila, 5 from Khoksa Upazila, 1 from Daulatpur Upazila, 3 from Mirpur Upazila and 5 from Bheramara Upazila.

Address of 4 affected people in Kumarkhali Upazila: 1 person in Dayarampur, 1 person in Mahendrapur, 1 person in Kundu Para and 1 person in Agrani Bank Kumarkhali.

On the other hand, 18 new corona patients have been identified from Chuadanga district, 20 from Jhenaidah district and 5 from Meherpur district.
