Coronavirus (Covid-19) has claimed the lives of 41 more people in the last 24 hours in Bangladesh.
With this, a total of one thousand six people died with the virus. At the same time, another 3,065 people have been found infected. As a result, the total number of identified patients stood at one lakh 49 thousand 298.
This information was given in the regular health bulletin of the health department on Wednesday (July 1) at noon by the additional director general of the department Prof. Dr. Nasima Sultana.
She said that 16,798 more samples were collected in the last 24 hours to detect coronavirus.
A total of 18,065 samples were tested. A total of seven lakh 84 thousand 335 samples were tested in the country. Corona has been identified in the new sample test among another 3,065 people. As a result, the number of patients not identified stood at one lakh 49 thousand 298 people. Another 41 people died among the victims. A total of one thousand and six people have died. Besides, 2,484 more people have recovered in the last 24 hours.
The total number of healthy patients stood at 72,106.
Of those died in the last 24 hours, 36 were men and three were women. Of these, four are in their thirties, five in their forties, 12 in their fifties, 11 in their sixties, seven in their seventies, one in their 60s and one in their 100s. 23 died at the hospital and 18 died at home. Among them 13 are in Dhaka division, 18 in Chittagong division, five in Khulna division, three in Barisal division, two in Sylhet division and one in Rangpur division.
