Coronavirus (Covid-19) infection has killed 43 more people in the country in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of deaths stood at one thousand 545. At the same time, corona infection has been detected in another 3,412 people. As a result, the number of identified patients increased to one lakh 19 thousand 198 people.
This information was given in the regular health bulletin on coronavirus of the health department on Tuesday (June 23) at noon by the additional director general of the department Prof. Dr. Nasima Sultana.
A total of 16,573 samples were collected in the last 24 hours to detect coronavirus, he said, citing sample test data from a total of 75 labs. 16 thousand 292 were tested. A total of six lakh 44 thousand 11 samples were tested in the country. Corona infections have been identified in 3,412 more people in the new sample test. As a result, the number of identified patients stood at one lakh 19 thousand 198 people. Another 43 people died among the victims. A total of one thousand 545 people died with this. In the last 24 hours, 60 more people have recovered. In all, the total number of healthy patients is now 47,835.
In the last 24 hours, 60 more people have been taken in isolation and so far 21 thousand 112 people have been taken in isolation. In the last 24 hours, 220 people have been exempted from isolation and so far 8,165 people have been exempted. At present there are 12,926 people in isolation.
In the last 24 hours, 2,414 people have been quarantined at home and institutionally, so far 3,44,080 people have been quarantined. In the last 24 hours, two thousand 174 people have received exemption from quarantine, so far a total of two lakh 60 thousand 514 people have received exemption from quarantine. At present, there are 64,148 people in quarantine, both home and institutional.
