The Corona patients in Kushtia has come down to single digits. The overall Covid-19 analysis on last two days, sees it.

On February 18, the number dropped to 9. In February 19 it stands at 7 and in last three days, only 1 new corona patient has been found in the district.

The civil surgeon of Kushtia thinks that the situation has improved due to the inadvertent rising of coronavirus antibodies in humans.

This seems after analyzing the data of PCR lab in Kushtia Medical College, updated information of coronavirus is given daily on the official Facebook page of the deputy commissioner.

According to the data, so far 3,879 people have been infected with coronavirus in the district. Of these, 3,784 have recovered. Total 88 people died and now there are only 8 patients left. There are 2 of them in the isolation ward and the remaining 5 in the home quarantine. The information id of February 19. No new corona patients were identified that day.

On 18 February, 1 person was identified, while the remaining 9 Corona patients were on that day. The day before, there were 10 patients left in Corona, but no new ones were infected.

Kushtia Civil Surgeon HM Anwarul Islam told to the Kushtia Times that awareness is still lack among the people. And the antibody of vaccine hasn’t started working yet. But over the last 10-15 days, the coronavirus situation has improved a lot in the district. Most days the number of new victims remains zero.

“No research has been done on why the situation has improved, but I think antibodies have been created in humans, said the civil surgeon.

“Whatever the reason, the situation has improved,” he said.

He said that the awareness activities on their part are continuing as before. He urged people to adhere to hygiene rules to prevent corona, including wearing masks and frequent hand washing.
